RESUMEN La presente investigación trata sobre la descripción sobre la reabsorción ósea marginal periimplantaria según el tipo de transmucoso en implantes dentales. Métodos: Investigación cuantitativa analítica, de tipo retrospectivo, transversal. Se utilizaron el T de Student, para la comparación de medias independientes, es menester de este trabajo evidenciar la reabsorción ósea marginal periimplantaria al año de carga y su relación con el tipo de transmucoso, en pacientes atendidos en la clínica estomatológica del Centro de Estudios de Estudios de Posgrado e Investigación en Ciencias de la Salud- CEPICISA del 2018 al 2019, de los cuales se obtuvo resultados cuantitativos y cualitativos mediante los exámenes radiográficos. The deficiencies of bone quality in the patient, either of wide or height, make the clinician take decisions to improve these conditions, with the purpose of placing implants or improving faulty edges that can support a prosthetics frame. For this, the procedures of guided bone regeneration with ones own chin bone (autogenous implant), are the ones with the best forecast for resolving the problem. In this clinical case we show the diagnosis, the surgical technique, the advantages and pharmacotherapy of guided bone regeneration treatment with autogenous chin implant.
