La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar in vitro el grado de inhibición del crecimiento de Candida albicans por parte de tres extractos: acuoso frío, acuoso caliente y extracto seco obtenidos a partir de tres variedades criolla paraguaya, criolla de San Ignacio y mejorada EIRETE de Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni (estevia), adaptadas agronómicamente en la provincia de San Ignacio del Departamento de Cajamarca.
