Numerosas investigaciones sugieren que una forma costo-efectiva de incrementar la calidad de los servicios de educación consiste en proveer información sobre la calidad de la enseñanza ofrecida por las escuelas. Esta afirmación se basa en la premisa de que consumidores mejor informados pueden ejercer presión sobre los proveedores del servicio para que estos eleven su calidad, produciendo así mejoras en su desempeño. Pancreatic cancer surveillance can improve outcomes in high-risk individuals. However, little is known about its applicability and findings in routine clinical practice. Our aim was to evaluate findings on screening tests in high-risk individuals in a clinical practice setting and to analyze factors associated with the presence of relevant pancreatic lesions. We developed a prospective observational study of pancreatic cancer high risk patients that meet criteria of surveillance from the International Cancer of the Pancreas Screening Consortium. The demographic variables, other risk factors and imaging findings are collected. Patients with significant findings are compared to those without noteworthy findings. El estudio sostiene que los estudiantes subestiman todos los ingresos en promedio respecto del real. Incluso bajo estándares conservadores, subestiman en 20 % los ingresos de la educación universitaria y >30 % los de la educación técnica. Además, sobreestiman en general sus propios ingresos futuros. Este sesgo se reduce con la edad siendo las niñas las que subestiman los retornos de la educación técnica y sobreestiman los de niveles bajos de educación.
