Introduction: Psychopathic traits harm the professional development and interpersonal relations of the general population, including healthcare professionals. This can be seen not only in already licensed physicians, but it may also be evidenced since their formative years as medical students. Objective: To evaluate the presence of psychopathic traits in a sample of Peruvian medical students and determining whether there is an association between sociodemographic and mental health (depression and anxiety) characteristics on the levels of psychopathic traits. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted on 497 students of a Peruvian medical school. El objetivo de este estudio fue determinar las complicaciones postoperatorias de pacientes pediátricos diagnosticados con mielomeningocele en el Instituto Nacional de Salud del Niño (INSN) San Borja durante el periodo 2015-2019. Estudio observacional, transversal y retrospectivo. Muestra que incluye a todos los pacientes. Datos recolectados de historias clínicas incluyendo características clínicas, características de la lesión, malformaciones asociadas, métodos diagnósticos, características de la cirugía y complicaciones postoperatorias. Objective: To determine whether epidemiological changes occurred among patients hospitalized in an internal medicine unit at Hospital Nacional Edgardo Rebagliati Martins by comparing data from 2008 and 2018. Materials and methods: An observational, retrospective and cross-sectional study was conducted using an analytical-descriptive approach and a non-experimental design. The study utilized nursing records from 1,640 patients over 18 years of age who were hospitalized in Internal Medicine Unit No. 5 (floor 7C) at Hospital Nacional Edgardo Rebagliati Martins (Jesús María, Lima, Peru) during 2008 and 2018.
