From a theoretical-mentalist perspective, identities, and linguistic attitudes of Andean migrants in the human settlement Villa Huanta, San Juan de Lurigancho (Lima, Peru) were evaluated. The qualitative and quantitative approaches allowed the measurement of the variables sex, age and schooling for which the questionnaire, participant observation and semi-structured interview were used in a complementary manner. A quantitative evaluation made it possible to determine that the Andean migrants did not show a very high value towards Spanish in relation to the Quechua language, especially in the affective sphere. However, from a qualitative perspective, this does occur in the cognitive and sociocultural spheres, not only among young people, but also in the adult population.

The characteristics of nominal-most recurrent structures of Spanish spoken by bilingual Ashaninka immigrants in Lima city are described from a functional sociolinguistic perspective. The evaluation of Noun Phrase (NP) structures are fundamentally studied under qualitative support in order to evaluate the sociolinguistic factors such as, age sex, schooling and time of residence, and the influence of the mother tongue when building up such structures. As we have observed, one of the forms which reproduce the native language is the elision of the article because in this language the determinative category is not present in a phonological form. The purpose of the study is to analyze from the mentalist theoretical perspective, the languages preferences of the indigenous bilingual Amazonian settlers in affective, cognitive and sociocultural terms. For this, the factors age, sex, schooling and origin are evaluated that condition the positive or negative attitudes towards the native languages and towards Spanish. In addition, these factors compromise the identities, levels of self-esteem, socio-cultural supports. It also allows, through the evaluation of the variables of influence in the languages preferences of the Amazonian bilingual populations, to understand more objectively the value of indigenous users in relation to their own language and to Spanish in connection with elements of socio-cultural identification or distancing themselves from their group that with no doupt, compromises the vulnerability of the involved languages...

Description of morphosyntactic characteristics in the double use of possessives in relation with social variables in the Spanish spoken by Amazonian immigrants living in Lima City is offered. Also, a comparative evaluation of codification of grammatical possession is made between Spanish (owned – owner) and the indigenous language (owner – owned). Noting that there are systematic patterns when alternating the canonic construction for the third person (Article + Noun de Noun) and the double use of possession relationships. Moreover, different structures showing double possession are evaluated, showing evidence of influence and social and cultural conditioning as a consequence of the contact between languages.

The development of the verbal lexis of Amazonian bilingual indigenous people is described from a lexical-semantic perspective, Ashaninka-Spanish and Shipibo- Spanish, in that order, according to the highest number of entries given by each of these populations. The morphologic and semantic characteristics of the verbal lexis used more recurrently are analyzed, which those evidence a big influence from Quechua and Andean Spanish.

Languages are instruments of communication and social construction of reality; to that extent, they are also vehicles of cultural construction and transmission. For this reason, one of the concerns that has gained consistency in the last twenty or thirty years is the extinction of languages. This process is related within the framework of language contact, the preference of one language over the other (bilingualism); in the same way it is related to group identity in multilingual communities and certainly in sociopolitical, sociolinguistic, educational, etc. contexts. In this perspective, we highlight the sociolinguistic situation of the most demographically important languages of the Peruvian Amazon.

The present work constitutes a case study regarding the written production of Spanish by indigenous Amazonian schoolchildren in schools in Lima. We try to characterize the difficulties in the written use of VF, pointing out the particularities that verbal constructions present.Likewise, we evaluate the socioeconomic and cultural aspects that contextualize the linguistic behavior of indigenous Amazonian schoolchildren, as well as the implications that these generate in the development of the educational process.The description of the use of verbs in the aforementioned sociocultural framework. allows us to observe that the indigenous schoolboy not only faces interference from his native language in Spanish, but also from dialectal Spanish (Amazonian) in standard Spanish (written).

The present study offers us the possibility of identifying the factors that condition the linguistic attitudes of two Peruvian Amazonian indigenous populations in order to understand, with greater objectivity, the value predisposition of indigenous users towards their own language and towards Spanish; their identification with their group and with the national society as a whole. It also allows us, in the first place, to evidence sociolinguistic and cultural elements conducive to outline a configuration of the scenario in which they develop their activities; secondly, to highlight the types of relationships they establish with indigenous members within their communities and with those who are not indigenous, both within and outside their communities.

Tomando como referencia la literatura oral asháninka, se evaluarán las características del léxico en la variedad del castellano de esta parte de la región. Se analizarán las características morfológicas y semánticas del léxico empleadas con mayor recurrencia, las cuales evidencian rasgos de transferencia de la lengua originaria y una marcada influencia del quechua y el castellano andino; para ello, la producción de los indígenas bilingües amazónicos en los relatos orales será comparada con los datos obtenidos en el libro de Luis Hernán Ramírez, El español amazónico hablado en el Perú (2003); en diccionarios asháninkas, como el Diccionario Asheninka/Ashaninka del Ministerio de Educación, recopilado por Heise, D. Analiza las preferencias de lenguas de los pobladores indígenas bilingües de la selva central del Perú en términos afectivos, cognoscitivos y socioculturales dentro del marco de la teoría mentalista. Evalúa los factores edad, sexo, escolaridad y procedencia que condicionan las actitudes positivas o negativas hacia las lenguas originarias y hacia el castellano. Estos factores, además, comprometen niveles de autoestima, soportes socioculturales, lingüísticos y redes de interacción social.
