El coronavirus es una enfermedad infecciosa que se presenta también en mujeres gestantes en quienes existen características epidemiológicas, clínicas y perinatales particulares que deben ser conocidas para evitar resultados adversos en el binomio madre niño. Es importante la vigilancia estricta en las gestantes con COVID 19 sobre todo en aquellas que tienen comorbilidades en quienes existe mayor probabilidad de desarrollar la enfermedad grave.
