OBJETIVOS: Determinar los factores asociados a hospitalización prolongada por bronquiolitis. MÉTODOS: Se realizó un estudio de cohorte retrospectivo, 2005 a 2014, en una institución pública. Se incluyeron 727 historias clínicas de menores de 2 años hospitalizados por bronquiolitis. Se consideró hospitalización prolongada como mayor o igual a 156 horas (percentil 80). En el análisis de múltiples variables se utilizó el modelo de regresión de Poisson con varianza robusta. RESULTADOS: 54,2% de los infantes fueron varones con una mediana de 6 meses de edad (Rango Intercuartílico RIQ 3-11). La mediana de estancia hospitalaria fue de 114 horas (RIQ 85-148) y 20,1% tuvo hospitalización prolongada. Objective: To assess the levels of stress and the coping strategies in students of the faculties of Medicine, Law and Psychology at a private university in Lima. Materials and Methods: Cross-sectional analytic and comparative study involving three university careers. For data collection, the SISCO inventory for academic stress and the questionnaire of stress coping (CAE) were used. For inferential analysis, Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient, Kruskall Wallis and Dunn Test (multiple comparison post hoc) were used. Results: The average age was 19.5 ± 2.5 years.
