El rendimiento académico de los estudiantes universitarios se constituye a la fecha en un verdadero problema de la educación, y que a la luz de las últimas investigaciones requiere un tratamiento especial. En la actualidad existen pocos estudios que vean los factores que influyen sobre esta variable de mucho interés para nuestra sociedad. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo el evidenciar el efecto de la ingesta de nutrientes en el rendimiento académico de estudiantes de una universidad particular de Huancayo. Objective: To estimate the frequency and characteristics of self-medication by COVID-19 in the population of the district of Lircay, in the year 2022. Material and Methods: Basic, cross-sectional, observational, non-experimental design. The sample consisted of 120 customers from 5 pharmacies in Lircay, Huancavelica; selected by non-probabilistic, purposive sampling, who met eligibility criteria; data collection was through a survey, with a structured questionnaire. Results: The arithmetic mean of age was 40.1 years +/-11.2; of the total participants 70% self-medicated when presenting symptoms of COVID-19; the female sex self-medicated more frequently (59.5%); self-medication occurs more in those of secondary education level (44%); the lower the monthly income, the greater the practice of self-medication (47.6%); family members are the ones who give the most advice (29.8%); the age group ...

Objectives: To improve knowledge, attitudes and practices of multimicronutrient consumption in children under3 years of age, from the Micro Health Network of Chilca, through an educational intervention. Material and Methods: The scientific method was used, being a research of applied type, epidemiological design, application level; with a sample of 65 mothers or caregivers of children under 5 years of age in the Micro Health Network of Chilca, in the province of Huancayo. An educational intervention was carried out with a diagnostic phase and a final test, to measure the expected changes from the intervention.
