La presente investigación tiene como finalidad brindar un punto de partida para la aplicación de nuevas metodologías científicas y prácticas, para el control, ejecución, seguimiento y administración de obras de construcción civil, fundamentando sus bases en la herramienta de “Last Planner System”, prevaleciendo en su metodología el aprovechamiento de todos y cada uno de los recursos que intervienen en el desarrollo de ejecución de un proyecto de índole civil, permitiéndonos tener como guía un modelo de seguimiento y control de obras centrando su aplicación a las edificaciones Algarrobos y Poncianas, permitiendo así mejorar la programación y la productividad en los edificios antes mencionados ubicado en la ciudad de Piura. Objective: To determine social and sexual behaviors associated to sexually transmitted diseases (STD/HIV/AIDS) in youngsters from Alto Huallaga, Peru, in 2004. Design: Case-control study. Setting: Alto Huallaga’s health establishments. Participants: Youngsters 18 to 24 year-old. Interventions: Youngsters 18 to 24 year-old with STD/HIV/AIDS were studied. Bivariable statistics analysis consisted in chi–square test and Fisher’s test. Multivariable statistic analysis used logistic regression. For data prosecution and analysis we used STATA v9 and EPIDAT 3,1 statistic software. Main outcome measures: Age, family characteristics, sexual history and their association with STD/HIV/AIDS. Results: From 1518 subjects, 506 cases had sexually transmitted infection history and 1012 controls did not have STD antecedent; 921 (60,7%) were females, 29% came from Rupa Rupa, and 64% were 21 to 24 year...

Objective: To detect lung mycosis (Paracoccidioides brasiliensis, Aspergillus sp., and Histoplasma capsulatum) with chronic respiratory disease symptoms (Huanuco and San Martin departments forest). Design: Cross-sectional study. Setting: Peru's Alto Huallaga . Patients: Study done in six districts' (Rupa Rupa, Tocache, Uchiza, Santa Lucia, Aucayacu and Puerto Inca - Sungaro) subjects with diagnosis of chronic respiratory disease, three or more episodes of bronchitis per year and/or cough for over three months in whom pulmonary tuberculosis was screened by direct baciloscopy. Interventions: Each subject had a clinical epidemiological card filled and 10 mL of blood was collected for immunodiffusion test for Histoplasma capsulatum, Paraccocidiodes brasiliensis, and Aspergilus sp, between April and September 2004.
