Objetivo: Determinar la presencia de cadmio y plomo en pejerrey (Odontesthes regia) comercializados en el terminal pesquero de Pisco de la Ciudad de Ica durante el periodo de enero del 2020 Metodología: Cuantitativa, mediante la técnica de Espectrofotometría de Absorción Atómica los niveles de concentración de cadmio y plomo, la población fueron pejerrey (Odontesthes regia) comercializados en el terminal pesquero de Pisco de la Ciudad de Ica durante el periodo de enero del 2020. Resultados: Los niveles de cadmio encontrados presentan un promedio de 0,13 ppm, valor mínimo de 0,03 ppm y valor máximo de 0,25 ppm encontrándose que no superan los límites máximo permisibles dado por SANIPES.
