Background. Rosacea is an inflammatory and chronic dermatological condition in the central part of the face. Many factors have been proposed and studied without reaching fully accepted conclusions. Objetivos. Determinar la asociación entre el tiempo de residencia en el lugar de procedencia, las preferencias de consumo en la dieta y el grado de ansiedad con la rosácea en los estudiantes usuarios del comedor universitario de la UNHEVAL. Determina los factores asociados a fotoprotección en trabajadores al aire libre de la Municipalidad provincial de Huánuco. La investigación es de tipo observacional, analítico de casos y controles retrospectivo, así como censal. El instrumento fue validado por 5 juicios de expertos con valor de índice de Kappa de 0.94 y confiabilidad con coeficiente α-Cronbach de 0,68 y KR20 de 0,69. La muestra estuvo constituida por 202 casos y 98 controles. Las técnicas utilizadas fueron: observación conductual, entrevista y encuesta.
