Título: Anticonceptivo hormonal de emergencia y su relación con el embarazo ectópico en pacientes del Hospital Central PNP Luis N. Sáenz en el periodo de enero a junio del 2016. Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el consumo del anticonceptivo hormonal de emergencia y el riesgo de embarazo ectópico. Material y método: Estudio de tipo prospectivo, descriptivo, transversal. Se estudiaron 16 casos de embarazo ectópico. Resultado: Según la aplicación del Chi cuadrado al 95% de confianza con p=0.137 el anticonceptivo hormonal de emergencia no se asocia al riesgo de embarazo ectópico. The birth of the newborn by eutocic or normal delivery without complications is the process where the fetus is in a cephalic and flexed position and no alterations are identified during the delivery process that concludes with the arrival of the newborn spontaneously, without complications and in the best of cases without the need for hospitalization after birth. Newborns delivered by cesarean section have a 2 times greater risk of complications and the neonatal mortality rate increases to 2.4 times compared to newborns delivered vaginally. In this study hospital, in the period from January to April 2022, there were 1051 deliveries and of these 442 (42%) were deliveries by cesarean section and of these 54 live births presented presentation dystocia.
