El objetivo de este trabajo fue realizar un estudio comparativo de dos métodos de cruces intra-poblacionales (en pares y en cadena) en el compuesto PMC-863 de maíz desarrollado por el INIA del Perú, para determinar cuál permite obtener una mayor ganancia genética en rendimiento. El experimento se llevó a cabo en las localidades de La Molina y Cañete durante una campaña agrícola. Se evaluó la variable de rendimiento de grano y se estimaron parámetros genéticos. Los resultados indicaron la posibilidad de obtener ganancias teóricas de 0.844 y 0.710 Tn/Ha mediante cruzas en pares y en cadena respectivamente. Las cruzas en cadena mostraron una ganancia levemente superior. Los valores de heredabilidad fueron moderados a altos. Se concluye que ambos métodos tienen potencial para incrementar la frecuencia de alelos favorables en poblaciones de maíz.

El estudio realizado en Padre Isla e Isla Iquitos, evaluó los componentes de los sistemas de uso de la tierra: agroforestales y tradicionales, lo cual permitió proponer un modelo de sistemas de producción con los conocimientos y experiencias adquiridas durante el desarrollo de este estudio. El área de estudio según su capacidad de uso mayor son tierras aptas para cultivos en limpio, con una calidad agrológica alta por la sedimentación y acumulación de material orgánico debido a las inundaciones periódicas del río Amazonas, en menor proporción tierras aptas para la producción forestal y mínima como tierras de protección. The camu camu (Myrciaria dubia) is possibly the most important amazonian fruit for its nutraceutical potential, with an ascorbic acid content higher than that of citrus in about 20 times. To evaluate the efficiency of grafting by terminal scion, buds rods were collected from 43 plants selected for high fruit yield, coming from Loreto, Peruvian Amazon, which were grafted onto rootstocks of Roraima, Brazil developed in the experimental nursery of the EMBRAPA, Boa Vista. 215 grafts were performed (five per each selected plant) grown in individual pots with sandy substrate fertilized with nutrient solution. Regarding the rootstocks had an average stem diameter of 8,07 mm in the grafting point located on average 23,22 cm from the neck of the plant. Agricultural production is sensitive to climatic factors and the study of their relationships is essential to understand their behavior in the future; for this reason, the objective of this study was to determine the effect of the determining climatic factors on the production of Myrciaria dubia (Kunth) McVaugh, in Ucayali - Peru, 2009-2019; to do this, through the production function, the effect of climatic factors (temperature and rainfall) determining the production of camu-camu in Ucayali was quantified; considering for this, as dimensions of production: yield per hectare, harvested area and the gross value of production for the period 2009 - 2019 and its projection until 2029, using the ordinary least square method (OLS).
