El objetivo de la presente investigación fue determinar la relación existente entre la formación profesional y la inserción laboral de los egresados de la Escuela Profesional de Contabilidad y Finanzas de la Universidad Nacional Amazónica de Madre de Dios (Perú) durante los años 2014-2015, con base en la percepción de los propios egresados. Dicha relación fue determinada mediante la aplicación de dos instrumentos de investigación a 33 egresados. Una encuesta para determinar la percepción de los egresados respecto a la formación profesional en sus dimensiones de: perfil profesional y plan de estudios propuesto por la Escuela Profesional de Contabilidad y otra encuesta para determinar la inserción laboral de tales egresados luego de haber concluido sus estudios en la Universidad. The present research aimed to describe the attitudes towards scientific research of the students of the Education career of a pedagogical higher education institute of Madre de Dios, Peru. The research approach was quantitative, the design was non-experimental while the type was descriptive, transactional. 138 students participated to whom a sociodemographic data sheet and the Index of Attitude towards Research were applied, an instrument with the required validity and reliability. According to the findings, the students were characterized by having an unfavorable attitude towards scientific research and it was determined that some sociodemographic variables such as sex and age group were significantly associated with the attitude towards scientific research (p <0.05).
