La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo general el determinar la relación entre el Control Interno y el desempeño laboral de los trabajadores administrativos de un Municipio Limeño , así como dar respuesta a la hipótesis planteada de la existencia de la relación significativa entre las 2 variables. La investigación fue de tipo básica, correlacional con un enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental. La población estuvo conformada por 107 trabajadores administrativos pertenecientes a un Municipio Limeño. Se aplicaron dos instrumentos para recolectar los datos, estos instrumentos fueron validados por tres expertos. Los resultados obtenidos después del análisis de datos nos indican que existe una relación significativa y esto se demuestra con el resultado estadístico correspondiente (Rho=.340).
