This research presents a study on the orientation of the spirituality of students of the Women’s University of the Holy Heart. It explores on their religious training, their inderstanding of the social environment, their view on life and its future possibilities. In addition, it features the perceptions of students about themselves, their spiritual orientation and the importance of family. In short, it shows an approach to the personal world of young people aspiring to achieve their goals at the beginning of the 21st century, marked by dazzling scientific and technological changes that belittle the significance of what is really important: the relationship with God, the encounter with oneself and others.

Jesús consideró a las mujeres como integrantes del círculo de sus discípulos, partícipes del reino que se iniciaba, formando una comunidad de iguales. Ellas tuvieron un papel protagónico en la Iglesia de los inicios como discípulas, testigos, misioneras, maestras, profetisas colaboradoras y apóstoles. Presidían las ekklesías, iglesias hogar, como mujer-ministros. Algunas mujeres de destacan en Hechos de los Apóstoles y en cartas de Pablo.

La espiritualidad es una manera de ser y de vivir, abiertas al Espíritu de Dios que dinamiza la totalidad de la persona y la historia. The tenderness is an inherent affective potential element inherent to the human structure, fundamental in the personal, family and social development process. Its early presence in the early maternal relationship will be reflected subsequently in a healthy personality, capable to face challenges and conflicts. The tenderness as a care leads us to the concrete of the life and is an alternative response in view of the hearth hardness and the social indifference. Its historic and prophetic hardness is capable to transform interhuman relationships. We have the responsibility to communicate this tenderness by fidelity to ourselves and others. It is in our hands to return into it, recreate it.
