Objective: Describe the prevalence and factors associated with adverse reactions due to the use of hormonal contraceptive methods in users of metropolitan Lima between the months of May and June 2018. Materials and methods: Observational, descriptive study. 215 women of childbearing age (15 to 49 years old) who used hormonal contraceptive methods in metropolitan Lima, from May to June 2017, participated in order to identify adverse reactions associated with the use of hormonal contraceptives; The variables were taken into account: age, harmful habits, physical profile, pathological history, obstetric history, hormonal contraception, time of use of the hormonal contraceptive, appearance of ADR and description of it.
