Objective: To determine the relationship between quality of care and satisfaction of users treated via gynecologic oncology telemedicine from August to October 2021. Materials and methods: An observational, cross-sectional and prospective study conducted with 302 users. Instruments: modified SERVPERF questionnaire to evaluate the quality of care, MINSA’s checklist to evaluate the structure, and telemedicine time record sheet to evaluate the process. Data was analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics V27 and Fisher's F test with p < 0.05. Results: Compliance with the structure was 66.67 % according to MINSA. Regarding the process, patient waiting time to get a telemedicine appointment was 1 to 7 days in 53.31 %, patient waiting time to begin a telemedicine consultation was < 10 minutes in 64.22 %, and telemedicine length was 11 to 15 minutes in 41.39 %. El tumor de células esteroideas de ovario es una neoplasia poco frecuente que se origina del estroma o de los cordones sexuales y es potencialmente maligno. La mayoría de estos tumores producen hormonas esteroides siendo la testosterona la que se eleva frecuentemente. Se presenta el caso de una paciente de 30 años que presentó signos de virilización asociado a masa pélvica, ascitis e incremento de la testosterona. Fue operada y sometida a estadiaje de ovario. El resultado del estudio anatomopatológico fue tumor de células esteroideas. Una revisión de los aspectos clínicos, diagnósticos y terapéuticos de estos tumores, es presentada. We present the clinical case of a patient with a diagnosis of primary non-gestational ovarian choriocarcinoma corresponding to a germline malignant neoplasm. Likewise, the updated literature on the subject is reviewed, emphasizing molecular biology, diagnosis, and initial cancer management. It was developed at the Dos de Mayo National Hospital (HNDM) in the Oncology Gynecology Service, Lima, Peru. The present case is recorded due to its limited casuistry in our setting and due to the important value of oncological criteria in the management of adnexal ovarian masses.

Introduction. This article provides an overview of the clinical practice guideline (CPG) for breast cancer screening in the Social Security of Peru (EsSalud). Objective. To offer evidence-based clinical recommendations for breast cancer screening within EsSalud. Methods. The CPG for breast cancer screening was developed by establishing a guideline development group (local GDG) consisting of medical specialists and methodologists. The local GDG formulated 5 clinical questions to be answered by this CPG. Systematic searches of systematic reviews and, when it was considered pertinent, primary studies were conducted in Pubmed and Cochrane CENTRAL during 2022.
