El presente trabajo de investigación se realizó en Santa Aurelia de Cochán, Provincia de San Miguel, Región Cajamarca, con el objetivo de evaluar el efecto de la suplementación en vacas lecheras con heno y silaje de avena-vicia forrajeras. Se utilizaron 12 vacas Holstein, separadas en dos grupos al azar, el grupo testigo conformado por 6 vacas bajo sistema de pastoreo a estaca en Rye grass + Trébol blanco y el grupo experimental conformado por 6 vacas bajo sistema de pastoreo rotativo con cerco eléctrico, racionado 2 veces al día, en parcela resembrada con Rye grass + Trébol blanco y suplementadas con 2 kg.
