La muestra estuvo conformada por 75 pacientes con diagnostico de tuberculosis pulmonar, ademas se uso como instrumento el cuestionario Belito-de la Cruz et al. quienes utilizaron como referencia el cuestionario Brief Cope, en su versión abreviada de la escala multidimensional de evaluación de los estilos de afrontamiento (COPE) creado en 1989 por Carver. Y para responder los objetivos e hipotesis se uso la prueba sperman Rho.Resultados: El (52%) de pacientes con diagnostico de tuberculosis pulmonar, fueron de sexo masculino, en comparación con los pacientes del sexo femenino (48%) grado de instrucción primaria 1,3%, secundaria 62,7% y superior 36,0%. Además de 89,3% usa las estrategias centradas en la emoción, 85,3% estrategias centradas en le problema, mientras que un74,7% usa estrategias menos funcional. Adherencia terapéutica 82,7%
