description En esta investigación se aplicara al profesional de enfermería en el área de cuidados intensivos y aborda la problemática referido a los conocimientos y prácticas sobre medidas de bioseguridad del catéter venoso central del personal enfermero, condición en la que llega a un significativo número de pacientes del área de unidad de cuidados intensivo y que requiere de conocimientos especializados por parte del personal enfermero , a fin de asumir las acciones correctas que permitan disminuir las infecciones del catéter venoso central y posterior a complicaciones.
