La presente investigación tiene por objetivo descubrir zonas donde exista humedales como fuente potencial de acuífero en la cuenca Cajamarca al analizar imágenes Landsat. Esto involucra trabajos no muy costosos donde la tecnología (teledetección) a través de imágenes satelitales puedan realizar una prospección desde una pequeña a una gran extensión. La metodología se basa en procesar imágenes satelitales Landsat en el software Arcgis 10.8 y Envi 5.3, obteniéndose de esa manera mapas temáticos para identificar zonas con recargas hídricas y acumulación en pendientes con menor grado, adquiriendo de esa manera información de índice de vegetación diferencial normalizada (NDVI), Índice de Agua de Diferencia Normalizada (NDWI), pendiente, temperatura superficial. En el resultado del análisis de los mapas se puede observar extensas zonas con vegetación saludable, zonas con menor probabilidad de existencia de agua subterránea, donde ha sido influenciado por la permeabilidad de la roca y la densidad de drenajes, y en mayor proporción por la pendiente del terreno muy favorables para la infiltración y la concentración de agua subterránea, concluyendo con este estudio que si es posible identificar zonas con potencial acuífero luego de interpretar los índices obtenidos en los mapas temáticos, por tanto, estas técnicas de teledetección ayudaron a identificar zonas potenciales de humedales. |

This involves inexpensive work where the technology (remote sensing) through satellite images can perform a survey from a small to a large area. The methodology is based on processing Landsat satellite images in Arcgis 10.8 and Envi 5.3 software, thus obtaining thematic maps to identify areas with water recharge and accumulation on slopes with lower grade, thus acquiring information on normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI), Normalized Difference Water Index (NDWI), slope, surface temperature.
