description La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo general determinar la relación que existe entre el análisis patológico y la vida útil de viviendas de albañilería confinada del barrio Santa Elena Baja en el año 2020, misma que corresponde a una investigación aplicada no experimental, correlacional, transversal, aleatoria la cual empleó la observación directa y una guía de observación para la recolección de datos, basados en la normativa ISO 15686 con criterios valorativos en función a las patologías encontradas obteniéndose la vida útil estimada de cada una, recopilado de este modo los datos necesarios para encontrar el objetivo, se procesó los datos empleando la estadística descriptiva, tratamiento estadístico como lo es el coeficiente de correlación de Pearson usando el softwares SPSS. Finalmente se interpretaron los resultados obtenidos llegando a la conclusión que la relación que existe entre el análisis patológico y la vida útil de viviendas de albañilería confinada en el barrio Santa Elena Baja para el año 2020 es positiva débil con un coeficiente de correlación de 0.189 y un nivel de confianza del 95%.

Finalmente se interpretaron los resultados obtenidos llegando a la conclusión que la relación que existe entre el análisis patológico y la vida útil de viviendas de albañilería confinada en el barrio Santa Elena Baja para el año 2020 es positiva débil con un coeficiente de correlación de 0.189 y un nivel de confianza del 95%.The general objective of this research was to determine the relationship between the pathological analysis and the useful life of confined masonry homes in the Santa Elena Baja neighborhood in 2020, which corresponds to a non-experimental, descriptive, correlational, cross-sectional, random investigation which used direct observation and an observation guide for data collection, based on the ISO 15686 standard with assessment criteria based on the pathologies found, obtaining the estimated useful life of each one, thus compiling the necessary data to find the objective, the data was processed using descriptive statistics, statistical treatment such as Pearson's correlation coefficient using SPSS software.
