Se aplicaron el Inventario de Sexismo Ambivalente de Glick y Fiske (1996), traducida y adaptada al castellano por Expósito, Moya y Glick, (2017) y la Escala de Actitud hacia la Homosexualidad (EAH-10) de Moral y Orteaga (2009). Los resultados indican que existe una correlación positiva a nivel de los puntajes totales de las variables, específicamente en los factores de sexismo hostil y sexismo intimidad heterosexual con actitud hacia la homofobia. Asimismo, los docentes hombres puntuaron más alto con una diferencia significativa en el total de sexismo ambivalente. Además, se encontró que los docentes que tienen más tiempo ejerciendo la docencia tienen diferencia significativa en sexismo benevolente diferenciación de género complementaria. Se concluye que la cultura es un factor influyente en la conducta y pensamiento de las personas sexista y homofóbicas.

It is a cross-sectional study with correlational design. A total of 143 teachers participated. The Ambivalent Sexism Inventory by Glick and Fiske (1996), translated and adapted to Spanish by Expósito, Moya and Glick, (2017) and the Attitude towards Homosexuality Scale (EAH-10) by Moral and Orteaga (2009) were applied. The results indicate that there is a positive correlation at the level of the total scores of the variables, specifically in the factors of hostile sexism and heterosexual intimacy sexism with attitude towards homophobia. Also, male teachers scored higher with a significant difference in total ambivalent sexism. In addition, teachers who have been teaching longer were found to have significant difference benevolent sexism complementary gender differentiation.
