Summary:The aim of this study is to make a literature review of the published articles on manias. In this regard, we proceeded to analyze various publications summarizing the most relevant aspects of this issue. Manias are much more common and just one realizes it when we suffer or others have them. Among the most common manias, one can mention those related to cleanliness, health, order, physical or psychological accumulation of objects and security. People with this disorder are unaware that they are sick so they do not look for or accept the treatment.
