No obstante, se convierte en un problema de salud debido a retrasos en el tratamiento, la resistencia a los medicamentos antituberculosos, con consecuencias clínicas y psicológicas. Después del VIH es la segunda fuente de mortalidad por patologías infecciosas en el mundo. La OMS, afirma que la cuarta parte de la población mundial está infectada con la bacteria de la tuberculosis. En el Perú en el año 2022 se registró 19 978 mil casos de nuevos de TB. Un estudio en Perú revelo que el 37% de los individuos con el diagnóstico de TB experimentaron un síndrome depresivo. Objetivo: Determinar la prevalencia de síndrome depresivo en pacientes con TB resistente en el Centro Materno Infantil Ollantay de enero a diciembre del 2024. Métodos: Estudio descriptivo, prospectivo que se llevara a cabo entre enero a diciembre del 2024 con una población de pacientes con TB resistente, la muestra se extraerá del total de los expedientes clínicos que incluyan los criterios seleccionados y se llevara a cabo el cálculo del tamaño de la muestra usando el software estadístico OpenEpi. Versión, siendo un estudio no probabilístico en pacientes con TB resistente del Centro Materno Infantil Ollantay, es necesario consentimiento informado
