La propuesta se orienta en el campo de la sostenibilidad, logrando un menor impacto ambiental, así como también hace consideración de las necesidades y funciones de los usuarios del establecimiento, buscando un mayor grado de satisfacción y por lo tanto mayor eficiencia. Se hace uso de variadas estrategias sostenibles, como el uso inteligente de materiales, el uso de la ventilación natural, protección contra la radiación solar, tecnología de recolección de aguas residuales y aprovechamiento de la luz solar como fuente de energía. La propuesta busca la creación de un hito para la ciudad, un edificio que pueda representar a la región, así como un espacio que el ciudadano pueda usar y esparcirse, y en el que el trabajador pueda sentirse realizado.

La propuesta busca la creación de un hito para la ciudad, un edificio que pueda representar a la región, así como un espacio que el ciudadano pueda usar y esparcirse, y en el que el trabajador pueda sentirse realizado.The research work done consists in the projection of an establishment for the headquarters of Piura’s Regional Government, searching for the fixing of the deficiencies of the actual building, besides incorporating new technologies and techniques of sustainability, helping the users in the realization of their activities, plus giving a profitable and functional establishment. The approach is oriented to sustainability, achieving a lesser environmental impact, beside considering the necessities of the users of the establishment, searching for a better degree of satisfaction and efficiency. Various sustainability strategies are used, like the smart use of resources, exploitation of natural ventilation, protection against solar radiation, wastewater collection technology and exploitation of solar light as a way to get electrical energy.
