El instrumento utilizado fue un cuestionario, y la población consistió en 151 administradores o encargados de establecimientos hoteleros, con una muestra de 109 participantes. El análisis de datos se realizó utilizando el software IBM Statistics v26, empleando estadísticas descriptivas para determinar el nivel de las variables sostenibilidad y orientación empresarial. Los resultados indicaron que el nivel de conocimiento sobre sostenibilidad en los encuestados era regular, con un 53.2%. Además, el nivel de orientación empresarial también fue regular, con un 65.1%. Se concluyó que existe una relación entre las variables sostenibilidad y orientación empresarial, con un resultado de p=0.000, lo que lleva al rechazo de la hipótesis nula y a la aceptación de la hipótesis alternativa. Además, se analizó el coeficiente de correlación de Rho de Spearman, cuyo valor fue de 0.875, dentro de los intervalos ±0.80 a ±0.90, lo cual indica una alta correlación entre las variables de la investigación.

An applied research was carried out, with a quantitative and a descriptive correlational cross-sectional non-experimental design. The instrument used was a questionnaire, and the population consisted of 151 administrators or managers of hotel establishments, with a sample of 109 participants. The data analysis was carried out using the IBM Statistics v26 software, using descriptive statistics to determine the level of the sustainability and business orientation variables. The results indicated that the level of knowledge about sustainability in the respondents was regular, with 53.2%. In addition, the level of business orientation was also regular, with 65.1%. It was concluded that there is a relationship between the variables sustainability and business orientation, with a result of p=0.000, which leads to the rejection of the null hypothesis and the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis.
