El proyecto se crea a raíz de la falta de espacios adecuados y accesibilidad hacia ellos; para el desarrollo de la atención y rehabilitación física en el adulto mayor asegurado. En la actualidad la región de La Libertad cuenta con centros de atención y rehabilitación física para el adulto mayor (CAM/MEC) sin embargo, estas no cuentan con los equipamientos e instalaciones necesarias para su funcionamiento, y de tal manera se pueda promover y priorizar la atención de las necesidades de salud en el adulto mayor; con el objetivo de promover un envejecimiento activo en ellos. La propuesta del Centro de Rehabilitación Física y Asistencia para el Adulto Mayor con Hospedaje para la Región de La Libertad, se ha tomado en cuenta criterios y parámetros de diseño para su adecuado funcionamiento del proyecto arquitectónico y así brindar un excelente servicio al público objetivo. Se busca en el proyecto que el usuario tenga una conexión con el equipamiento, el cual permita al usuario realizar diferentes actividades tanto activas como pasivas.

The project is created as a result of the lack of adequate spaces and accessibility to them; for the development of physical care and rehabilitation in the insured older adult. Currently, the La Libertad region has physical care and rehabilitation centers for the elderly (CAM / MEC), however, these do not have the equipment and facilities necessary for their operation, and in such a way they can promote and prioritize care for the health needs of the elderly; with the aim of promoting active aging in them. The proposal of the Center for Physical Rehabilitation and Assistance for the Elderly with Accommodation for the La Libertad Region, has taken into account criteria and design parameters for the proper functioning of the architectural project and thus provide an excellent service to the target audience.
