Los resultados revelaron una sensibilidad del 70.8%, una especificidad del 76%, junto con un valor predictivo positivo del 21.2% y un valor predictivo negativo del 96.6%. Conclusiones: Mediante este estudio se demuestra que el INL es válido como factor predictivo de severidad en colecistitis aguda

Material and method: The data of 120 patients who underwent surgical intervention for acute cholecystitis at the “Hospital Regional Docente de Cajamarca” were collected. Among them, 24 were classified as complicated cholecystitis, and 96 as uncomplicated cholecystitis. The conducted study was observational, retrospective and of a diagnostic test type. Results: It was demonstrated that by setting the threshold at 8.3 for the NLR and associating it with the presence of complicated acute cholecystitis, an area under the curve of 0.81 was obtained (95% CI: 0.720-0.900, p<0.000). The results revealed a sensitivity of 70.8%, a specificity of 76%, along with a positive predictive value of 21.2% and a negative predictive value of 96.6%.
