El tipo de investigación fue no experimental, transversal: descriptivo. Los datos fueron recolectados a través de instrumentos como fichas de evaluación y fichas de conteo vehicular, así como también ensayos en laboratorio. Los resultados mostraron que la condición del pavimento actual es mala en muchas partes del tramo, por presencia de huecos generalmente. Se realizaron ensayos de mecánica de suelos de acuerdo a las NTP y ASTM correspondientes, que arrojaron resultados medianamente favorables como un suelo clasificado en SUCS como arena mal gradada con presencia de limos “SP-SM” y un CBR de 11.10% al 95% y de 17.58 al 100%. Se obtuvo un IMDA de 1029 vehículos por día y un ESAL de 2’280,664 EE, siendo un tipo de tráfico pesado Tp6. Para la propuesta de rehabilitación se calcularon nuevos espesores de la capa del pavimento, obteniendo como resultado una carpeta asfáltica de 3”, una base de 10” y una subbase de 8

The type of research was non experimental, transversal: descriptive. The data was collected through instruments such as evaluation sheets and vehicle counting sheets, as well as laboratory tests. The results showed that the condition of the current pavement is poor in many parts of the section, generally due to the presence of holes. Soil mechanics tests were carried out according to the corresponding NTP and ASTM, which yielded moderately favorable results such as a soil classified in SUCS as poorly graded sand with the presence of ""SP-SM"" silts and a CBR of 11.10% at 95% and 17.58 at 100%. An IMDA of 1029 vehicles per day and an ESAL of 2’280,664 EE were obtained, being a Tp6 heavy traffic type.
