Se realizó la estimación de la señal uplink proveniente desde 71 emplazamientos representativos de drive test, en las bandas de 1700 MHz, 2100 MHz y 2500 MHz, con incrementos de 10 MHz en cada banda para la evaluación de la respuesta de la señal uplink en diversidad. Como parámetros más notables para reproducir el escenario de simulación se consideraron los patrones de radiación horizontal y vertical de antenas, así como un drive test de referencia que permita ajustar el simulador a las mediciones realizadas. Los resultados obtenidos mostraron que el desempeño de diversidad de polarización llega a tener un impacto notable entre el 13% a 14% de puntos evaluados, incrementando la señal uplink más de 3dB por encima del promedio. Al mismo tiempo se obtuvo de 13% a 18% de puntos en los que, a pesar del incremento introducido por la técnica de diversidad no alcanzan un nivel cercano al promedio. Respecto de la variabilidad de señal, los resultados mostraron una reducción de variabilidad desde la 15 dB en la banda de 1700 MHz, 10 dB en la banda 2100 MHz, hasta los 7 dB en la banda de 2500 MHz. Los puntos donde se evidencia más el efecto favorable de diversidad de polarización se encuentran en las cercanías y límites de cobertura de la estación base

The estimation of the uplink signal coming from 71 representative drive test locations was carried out, in the 1700 MHz, 2100 MHz and 2500 MHz cellular bands, with increments of 10 MHz in each band for the evaluation of the response of the uplink signal in diversity. The most notable parameters to reproduce the simulation scenario were the horizontal and vertical radiation patterns of the antennas, as well as a reference drive test that allows the simulator to be adjusted to the measurements made. The results obtained showed that the polarization diversity performance has a notable impact between 13% to 14% of points evaluated, increasing the uplink signal more than 3dB above the average. At the same time, 13% to 18% of points were obtained in which, despite the increase introduced by the diversity technique, they did not reach a level close to the average. Regarding signal variability, the results showed a reduction in variability from 15 dB in the 1700 MHz band, 10 dB in the 2100 MHz band, to 7 dB in the 2500 MHz band.
