La muestra estuvo conformada por 50 madres, quienes cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión. Para la recolección de datos se utilizaron los cuestionarios Calidad del Cuidado Enfermero y Satisfacción de las Madres. Los datos fueron ordenados y analizados por la prueba estadística alfa de Cronbach y, para determinar el tipo de relación entre las variables, se utilizó el coeficiente de correlación Tau-c de Kendall. Los resultados se presentaron en tablas simples y de doble entrada, donde el 54% de las madres manifestaron estar altamente satisfechas con la calidad del cuidado enfermero; el 28% de las madres se mostraron medianamente satisfechas y un 8% de ellas, con baja satisfacción. Concluyendo que existe una relación significativa directa entre la calidad del cuidado enfermero y la satisfacción de las madres de neonatos hospitalizados (p=0.000).

Concluyendo que existe una relación significativa directa entre la calidad del cuidado enfermero y la satisfacción de las madres de neonatos hospitalizados (p=0.000).The present quantitative research study, of a cross-sectional correlational descriptive type, was carried out in the neonatal intensive care unit of the “Félix Mayorca Soto” Hospital in Tarma during the months of September to December 2024, with the purpose of determining the relationship that exists between the quality of nursing care and the satisfaction of mothers of newborns. The sample was made up of 50 mothers, who met the inclusion criteria. To collect data, the Quality of Nursing Care and Mothers' Satisfaction questionnaires were used. The data were ordered and analyzed by Cronbach's alpha statistical test and, to determine the type of relationship between the variables, Kendall's Tau-c correlation coefficient was used. The results were presented in simple and double-entry tables, where 54% of the mothers expressed being highly satisfied with the quality of nursing care; 28% of the mothers were moderately satisfied, and 8% of them, with low satisfaction.
