description El presente trabajo académico tiene por objetivo dar a conocer el trastorno específico de la lectoescritura como problema de aprendizaje más frecuente y conocido, de esta manera podríamos definir a la Dislexia como una dificultad significativa y persistente en la adquisición del lenguaje y, por tanto, en repercusiones en la escritura, simplemente es una particular manera de percibir el mundo, es decir son personas con una habilidad distinta para el aprendizaje. La metodología empleada para el desarrollo de este trabajo fue descriptivo simple en donde se ha recopilado diferentes fuentes de información de varios autores así como trabajos publicados en internet, se ha hecho una selección de los mismos adaptando ellos más relevante de acuerdo a la propuesta planteada.
