Intervención farmacéutica en adultos mayores prescritos con fluoxetina en el Centro de Salud Mental Comunitario Vitaliza - periodo 2021

Evaluar el grado de aceptación de la intervención Farmacéutica a prescripciones potencialmente inadecuadas identificadas mediante criterios STOPP/START en pacientes adultos mayores tratados con fluoxetina en el centro de salud mental comunitario VITALIZA periodo 2021. Investigación de tipo retrospectiva, transversal y observacional con un diseño descriptivo del análisis documental. Se observó que según los criterios de STOPP se presentan en un 12.36%, se manifiesta que los pacientes del sexo masculino y con edades entre 75 a más, son más propensos a presentar una PPI, la relación de comorbilidad y la presencia de una PPI es del 72,73%, mientras que la aplicación del índice de Barthel arroja que sólo un 8.98% presenta una incapacidad severa y un 38.46% presentan incapacidad ligera. Se concluye que el sexo masculino con mas de 75 años y presentando comorbilidades son más propensos a presentar una PPI según los criterios de STOPP/START sección D. ----- To evaluate the degree of acceptance of the pharmaceutical intervention to potentially inappropriate prescriptions identified by STOPP/START criteria in older adult patients treated with fluoxetine at the VITALIZA community mental health center, period 2021. Retrospective, cross-sectional and observational research with a descriptive design of documentary analysis. It was observed that according to the STOPP criteria they are presented in 12.36%, it is stated that male patients aged 75 and over are more likely to present an IPP, the comorbidity relationship and the presence of an IPP is of 72.73%, while the application of the Barthel index shows that only 8.98% have severe disability and 38.46% have light disability. It is concluded that males over 75 years of age and presenting comorbidities are more likely to present an IPP according to the STOPP/START section D criteria.
