Maestría en AgronegociosLa presente investigación, titulada “Gestión de la innovación para incrementar la competitividad del café de la Asociación de Productores Selva Nororiental en San Martín”, tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre la gestión de la innovación y el incremento de la competitividad del café en la Asociación de Productores Selva Nororiental en la región de San Martín. Para lograr el objetivo, se realizó un diseño metodológico de tipo investigación básica, con nivel correlacional, un diseño no experimental y un enfoque cuantitativo. La población estuvo conformada por 15 gerentes de organizaciones exportadoras de café en la región de San Martín, incluida la Asociación de Productores Selva Nororiental. Las técnicas utilizadas fueron el análisis documental, la observación directa y la encuesta aplicada a toda la población. En la tesis, primero se realizó un análisis interno y externo de la asociación para identificar brechas estratégicas en la gestión de innovación y competitividad. Posteriormente, se llevó a cabo el análisis de la correlación entre las variables, aplicando la prueba de normalidad Shapiro-Wilk, que confirmó que los datos seguían una distribución normal. Esto permitió el uso de la prueba paramétrica de Pearson, cuyos resultados mostraron una correlación alta, positiva y estadísticamente significativa (r = 0.782, p = 0.01) entre la gestión de innovación y la competitividad del café. La investigación concluyó que la gestión de innovación es un factor determinante para incrementar la competitividad del café en APROSELVANOR. La mejora en procesos internos, la implementación de herramientas innovadoras y estrategias de comercialización favorecen la adaptación a las demandas del mercado, fortaleciendo la posición competitiva de la organización.This research, titled “Innovation Management to Increase the Competitiveness of Coffee from the Asociación de Productores Selva Nororiental in San Martín,” aimed to determine the relationship between innovation management and the increase in coffee competitiveness in the Asociación de Productores Selva Nororiental in the San Martín region. To achieve this goal, a methodological design was developed, characterized as basic research, with a correlational level, non-experimental design, and quantitative approach. The population consisted of 15 managers from coffee exporting organizations in the San Martín region, including the Asociación de Productores Selva Nororiental. The techniques used were document analysis, direct observation, and a survey applied to the entire population. The thesis first conducted an internal and external analysis of the association to identify strategic gaps in innovation management and competitiveness. Subsequently, the correlation between the variables was analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, which confirmed that the data followed a normal distribution. This allowed the application of Pearson’s parametric test, whose results showed a high, positive, and statistically significant correlation (r = 0.782, p = 0.01) between innovation management and coffee competitiveness. The research concluded that innovation management is a determining factor in increasing the competitiveness of coffee at APROSELVANOR.
