Sin embargo, esta práctica ha suscitado preocupaciones debido al surgimiento de bacterias resistentes, planteando serios riesgos para la salud humana al reducir las opciones de un tratamiento eficaz. En el estudio realizado mediante información recopilada se ha evaluado la efectividad de la oxitetraciclina y el florfenicol en el control de enfermedades específicas en estas especies. Destaca que la oxitetraciclina, por su costo y eficacia, es ampliamente utilizada y demuestra ser eficaz contra la hepatopancreatitis necrotizante en langostinos en un lapso de 14 días. Ambos antibióticos han mostrado capacidad para controlar la flavobacteriosis en truchas, reduciendo la mortalidad a niveles normales. A pesar de que el florfenicol posee un espectro de acción más amplio, su uso se ve limitado debido a consideraciones económicas. Estos resultados enfatizan la necesidad crítica de una gestión responsable de antibióticos en la acuicultura para preservar la salud pública y mantener la efectividad de estos tratamientos, al tiempo que resaltan la importancia de una regulación más estricta y una supervisión rigurosa para contrarrestar la resistencia bacteriana y sus implicaciones en la salud animal y humana.Aquaculture, crucial in the breeding of prawns and trout, resorts to the use of antibiotics to prevent and treat diseases, avoiding significant economic losses. However, this practice has raised concerns due to the emergence of resistant bacteria, posing serious risks to human health by reducing options for effective treatment. The study, based on collected information, assessed the effectiveness of oxytetracycline and florfenicol in controlling specific diseases in these species. It is notable that oxytetracycline, due to its costeffectiveness, is widely used and proves to be effective against necrotizing hepatopancreatitis in prawns within a 14-day period. Both antibiotics have shown the ability to control flavobacteriosis in trout, reducing mortality to normal levels. Despite florfenicol having a broader spectrum of action, its use is limited due to economic considerations.
