Factores de riesgo como obesidad, tabaquismo, sedentarismo y edad, junto con barreras de acceso a los servicios de salud, aumentan su prevalencia. Este trabajo analiza los factores de riesgo y tratamientos en la prevención y manejo de las ECV, proponiendo estrategias integrales para su control. Método: se realizó un análisis sistemático de 10 artículos científicos obtenidos de PubMed, Scopus, ScienceDirect y Scielo. Los estudios seleccionados, publicados en los últimos cinco años, analizaron factores de riesgo modificable y no modificable, además de tratamientos farmacológicos y no farmacológicos. Se excluyeron revisiones sistemáticas y artículos sin resultados experimentales. Resultados: se identificaron factores de riesgo como tabaquismo, obesidad, sedentarismo, edad y genética. Los tratamientos farmacológicos, como anticoagulantes y antihipertensivos, reducen la morbilidad cardiovascular, pero persisten barreras de acceso a servicios y falta de educación sanitaria, especialmente en poblaciones vulnerables. Conclusión: las ECV requieren un enfoque integral que combine prevención, tratamiento farmacológico y estilos de vida saludables. Es esencial mejorar la accesibilidad a servicios de salud, priorizando grupos desfavorecidos.

Risk factors such as obesity, smoking, sedentary lifestyle and age, together with barriers to access to health services, increase their prevalence. This work analyzes the risk factors and treatments in the prevention and management of CVD, proposing comprehensive strategies for their control. Method: a systematic analysis of 10 scientific articles obtained from PubMed, Scopus, ScienceDirect and Scielo was performed. The selected studies, published in the last five years, analyzed modifiable and non- modifiable risk factors, as well as pharmacological and non- pharmacological treatments. Systematic reviews and articles without experimental results were excluded. Results: risk factors such as smoking, obesity, sedentary lifestyle, age and genetics were identified. Pharmacological treatments, such as anticoagulants and antihypertensives, reduce cardiovascular morbidity, but access barriers to services and lack of health education persist, especially in vulnerable populations. Conclusion: CVD requires a comprehensive approach that combines prevention, pharmacological treatment and healthy lifestyles.
