Objetivo: el estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre ansiedad y depresión con la adherencia al tratamiento de tuberculosis (TB) en la Red Integrada de Salud Independencia, Lima, Perú. Método: se evaluó a 94 pacientes con TB en tratamiento entre febrero y marzo de 2025 mediante el GAD7, PHQ9 y el cuestionario de MoriskyGreen. Se recopiló información adicional sobre edad, sexo y nivel educativo. Resultados: el análisis descriptivo indicó que el 40 % de los participantes presentó algún grado de depresión y el 34 %, síntomas de ansiedad; el 75,5 % fue adherente al tratamiento. La correlación entre depresión y ansiedad fue fuerte y significativa (r = 0,691, p < 0,001). Sin embargo, no se encontraron asociaciones significativas entre ansiedad o depresión y adherencia (χ²=19,6, p=0,189; χ²=12,7, p=0,391). Conclusiones: aunque los trastornos emocionales son prevalentes, no se relacionan directamente con la adherencia en esta muestra. Estos hallazgos resaltan la necesidad de explorar factores psicosociales adicionales que puedan influir en el cumplimiento terapéutico.

The WHO warns that depression reduces therapeutic efficacy and increases mortality, while the country lacks mental integration in health care. Objective: the aim of this study was to determine the relationship between anxiety and depression with adherence to tuberculosis (TB) treatment in the Red Integrada de Salud Independencia, Lima, Peru. Methods: ninety-four TB patients under treatment between February and March 2025 were assessed using the GAD 7, PHQ 9 and the Morisky Green questionnaire. Additional information was collected on age, sex and educational level. Results: descriptive analysis indicated that 40% of the participants had some degree of depression and 34% had symptoms of anxiety; 75.5% were adherent to treatment. The correlation between depression and anxiety was strong and significant (r = 0.691, p < 0.001). However, no significant associations were found between anxiety or depression and adherence (χ²=19.6, p=0.189; χ²=12.7, p=0.391). Conclusions: although emotional disorders are prevalent, they are not directly related to adherence in this sample.
