description La hiperlaxitud ligamentaria (HL) es la principal causa de hipermovilidad articular, causada por una alteración en los genes que codifican el colágeno, la elastina y la fibrina; su incidencia es mayor en mujeres y en niños. Se ha descrito asociación con algunos síntomas extra articulares, por lo cual los síntomas podrían no estar solo limitados al sistema músculo-esquelético sino también al sistema extra musculo-esquelético que daría lugar al Síndrome Benigno de Hiperlaxitud Articular. El test de Beighton y los criterios de Brighton son las herramientas más utilizadas para la detección de la hiperlaxitud. El presente trabajo de recolección de datos tiene como finalidad establecer las diferentes patologías relacionadas a la hipermovilidad articular lo cual conlleva a una inestabilidad y el abordaje fisioterapéutico para evitar mayores complicaciones el cual se basa en la educación, estabilización articular global, reeducación postural

An association with some extra articular symptoms has been described, so that the symptoms may not only be limited to the musculoskeletal system but also the extra musculoskeletal system that would give rise to Benign Articular Hyperlaxity Syndrome.
