El estudio está basado en un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicada, de diseño no experimental de corte transversal, perteneciendo a un estudio descriptivo. El instrumento que se hace uso es el Inventario de sexismo ambivalente desarrollado por Glick y Fiske, previa adaptación peruana. La población de estudiantes en dicha institución fue de 75 estudiantes de 1ro a 5to de secundaria, el muestreo es no probabilístico de tipo intencionado por el investigador, de modo que la muestra está conformada por todos los alumnos que cursan el nivel secundario. Los resultados mostraron que el 38,67% de los estudiantes se encuentran en nivel “Promedio bajo” con respecto al sexismo ambivalente, lo cual nos indica un nivel favorable, por otro lado, el 26,67% de la población se encuentra en un nivel “Promedio Alto” en relación con el sexismo hostil y el 37,33% que expresa un nivel “Promedio” refiriéndose al sexismo benevolente, resultados que dejan en evidencia que el lenguaje y las actitudes sexistas en la institución educativa están presentes en el promedio de sus estudiantes. Por ende, basándonos en los resultados, se elaboró un programa de intervención terapéutica para promover relaciones igualitarias en los estudiantes de secundaria.

The study is based on a quantitative approach, of applied type, of nonexperimental design of transversal cut, belonging to a descriptive study. The instrument that can be used is the Inventory of ambivalent sexism developed by Glick and Fiske, after Peruvian adaptation. The population of students in this institution was 81 students from 1st to 5th grade of secondary school, the sampling was not probabilistic of the intentional type by the researcher, so that the sample is made up of all the students of 3rd, 4th and 5th of secondary school. The results showed that the 38.67% of the students in this institution were in a “low grade” in terms of ambivalent sexism, which is something positive. However, the results also showed that the 26,67% of students were in a “high grade” in terms of hostile sexism, and that the 37.33% of students were in an “average grade” regarding benevolent sexism. These results reveal that the language and sexist attitudes in the institution are currently present in the average of students.
