description El objetivo general de la investigación fue determinar la relación entre las habilidades blandas y la satisfacción laboral de los docentes de la Institución Educativa N° 1267 - Lurigancho, 2020. El tipo de investigación fue básica, de enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental transversal, nivel descriptivo correlacional. Se aplicó muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia a una muestra censal conformada por 60 docentes. Los instrumentos de recolección fueron un cuestionario en escala de Likert para cada variable, los cuales fueron sometidos previamente a la validez por juicio de expertos y la confiabilidad fue comprobada a través del estadístico alfa de Cronbach (habilidades blandas=0,914 y satisfacción laboral=0,915). La técnica fue la encuesta y aplicada a los docentes. Los datos fueron procesados en el programa SPSS v. 25 que permitió contrastar las hipótesis mediante el estadístico Rho de Spearman (r=0.782 y p = 0.000 < 0.05), se concluyó que existe relación directa y significativa entre las variables, es decir a mayor nivel de habilidades blandas se mejora el nivel de satisfacción laboral en los docentes de la IE Nº1267 - Lurigancho, 2020.
