description En la investigación titulada “Control interno y gestión de inventario en las microempresas del mercado Huayco, Tarapoto, 2023” se ha formulado como problema general la interrogante ¿Cuál es la relación entre el control Interno y gestión de inventario en las microempresas del mercado Huayco, Tarapoto, 2023?, lo que ha conllevado a plantear como objetivo general el determinar la relación entre el control interno y la gestión de inventario en las microempresas del mercado Huayco, Tarapoto, 2023. Concerniente a la metodología el estudio fue de tipo aplicada, elaborado bajo un enfoque cuantitativo y diseño no experimental de corte transversal, considerando como muestra a 30 participantes, recurriendo además a la aplicación del cuestionario como el instrumento seleccionado para la recopilación de datos necesarios. Los principales resultados permitieron dar a conocer que el control interno presentó una correlación positiva muy alta con la gestión de inventarios confirmado con un coeficiente rho equivalente a (0,994). Llegando a concluir que con un nivel de significancia cuyo valor p fue equivalente a (0.000) se confirmó y aceptó la hipótesis alterna de la investigación.
