description El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo el propósito de determinar el nivel de habilidades sociales en los alumnos del 5° año de secundaria de la Institución Educativa 3055 “Túpac Amaru” – Comas. La investigación correspondió al tipo descriptivo correlacional, en donde se seleccionó como muestra censal a todos los alumnos del 5° año de secundaria de los cuales se recabo información acerca de las habilidades sociales, al aplicar un cuestionario con 50 ítems. El enfoque de investigación correspondió al tipo cualitativo. Así como también, un alto al número de estos alumnos que a veces utilizan las habilidades sociales, básicas, alternativas a la agresión y para hacer frente al estrés; y un alto número de estos alumnos siempre utilizan las habilidades sociales relacionadas con los sentimientos y de planificación.
