description La presente investigación tiene como objetivo evaluar el nivel de ansiedad en los adolescentes del 5to año de secundaria de la LE.P 5128 “Sagrado Corazón de María" del distrito de Pachacútec-Ventanilla, en el año 2013. Se realizó una investigación descriptiva, a través de un análisis Cuantitativo con diseño No Experimental-Transversal a una muestra de 43 estudiantes del 5to año de secundaria de ambos sexos. Se aplicó como instrumento la Escala de Autoevaluación de la Ansiedad de Zung (EAA). Se obtuvo que el 61% de los adolescentes presenta un nivel de ansiedad normal, el 35% de los adolescentes presenta un nivel de ansiedad leve y el 5% de los adolescentes manifiestan un nivel de ansiedad moderada.
