La muestra estuvo conformada por 284 docentes de instituciones educativas de Chimbote, a quienes les fue aplicado la Escala Ultrech de Engagement en el trabajo (UWES- 9) y la Escala Satisfacción Laboral (SL-SPC) para la medición de la primera y segunda variable, respectivamente. Finalmente, los resultados de la investigación reflejan la existencia de una correlación positiva media de ,412 entre ambas variables.
