La investigación fue de diseño básica, de tipo no experimental, transversal y correlacional, donde participaron 106 estudiantes del CRFA Cayena, a quienes se les aplicó la Escala de medición de la convivencia escolar (EMCE) (Obregón, 2016) y el Cuestionario de habilidades socioemocionales (Mathiesen et al., 2011). Se encontró un nivel bajo de convivencia escolar (52.8%) y un nivel medio de habilidades sociemocionales (48.1%). Además, se demostró que existe relación positiva entre convivencia escolar y habilidades socioemocionales con tamaño de efecto grande (Rho= 0.853; p<0,05; r2= 0.73). Se concluye que a mayor convivencia escolar mayor serán las habilidades socioemocionales en estudiantes de Juanjuí.
