Nicol Alejandra Mori Valcárcel El objetivo de esta investigación fue aplicar como estrategia de desarrollo turístico al turismo sostenible en la comunidad de Independencia, debido a que el turismo juega un rol fundamental para la protección y conservación de la biodiversidad, y los beneficios del desarrollo de la actividad turística, generadoras de nuevos puestos de trabajo de manera directa e indirecta. La actividad turística en esta comunidad carece de infraestructura adecuada, servicios básicos; haciendo que los turistas tengan corta estancia en el lugar; además, las vías de acceso por carretera no son las adecuadas, siendo la vía fluvial y terrestre su acceso, hechos que hacen atractivo el trayecto, en la que se van conociendo otras comunidades. Implementar el turismo sostenible en la comunidad es una alternativa para el desarrollo de la actividad turística realizando trabajos articulados entre las entidades públicas y privadas, población mediante talleres, con evaluaciones continuas para lograr la sostenibilidad y los beneficios esperados en bien de la población.

Tourism activity in this community lacks adequate infrastructure and basic services; causing tourists to have a short stay in the place; in addition, the access routes by road are not adequate, being the river and land routes their access, facts that make the journey attractive, in which other communities are known.
