Objetivo: Describir las evidencias científicas de las intervenciones educativas que realiza el personal de enfermería para mejorar el autocuidado. Material y Métodos: estudio monográfico, descriptivo, retrospectivo, mediante revisión documental. Resultados: tras la búsqueda bibliográfica se obtuvieron 32 artículos científicos, comprendidos entre el año 2014 al 2022, indexadas con los criterios de exclusión e inclusión, la mayoría de los artículos pertenecen a la base de datos Pubmed y fueron publicados en Irán Conclusiones: el personal de enfermería orienta sus actividades educativas en relación a la restricción de ingesta de líquidos, adherencia a la dieta, el cuidado de la piel, higiene y autoevaluación del acceso vascular para evitar complicaciones o perdidas del acceso vascular mediante estrategias efectivas como conferencias, discusiones grupales, uso de manual impreso e ilustrado, consultorio de enfermería, método presencial, intervenciones psicológicas, aplicación del juego y visitas domiciliarias, favoreciendo el autocuidado de los pacientes en tratamiento de hemodiálisis.

Objective: To describe the scientific evidence of educational interventions carried out by nursing staff to improve self-care. Material and Methods: monographic, descriptive, retrospective study, through documentary review.
