Sumario:Objective. Determine if the Integrated Scholarship System (ISS), version 2, improve the management of the grant in the Programa Nacional de Becas y Crédito Educativo (PRONABEC), Peru. Methods. The type of research was applied, explanatory level, while the research design was quasi-experimental. It worked with a sample of 48 managers and directors of the 24 Units of Coordination and Cooperation Regional of the PRONABEC, which represented the total goal population. The application of the instrument was at the pre and post-test level of the grant management. It employed a questionnaire of 19 items distributed in five dimensions: efficiency, usability, requirements validation, request generation and accordance, and follow-up. The instrument was validated by judgment of experts with a criterion of validation “high” and with a level reliability Cronbach's alpha of 0,830. It was decided to use the Wilcoxon test as a statistical method. Results. With the first version of the Integrated Scholarship System (ISS), only a 25 % of workers agreed with the level of efficiency, a 32 % agreed with the level of usability, a 21 % agreed with the management of the grant, a 43,7 % agreed with the validity of requirements, a 22,9 % agreed with the generation of request and accordance, a 29,3 % agreed with the tracking capacity. While with the version 2 of the ISS, a 75 % of workers agreed with the level of efficiency, a 68 % agreed with the level of usability, a 79 % agreed with the management of the grant, a 56,3 % agreed with requirements validity, a 77,1 % agreed with request generation and accordance, and a 70,7 % agreed with the tracking capacity. Conclusion. The version 2 of the ISS improve significantly the management of the grant of the PRONABEC.
